“Come to Me”
While praying at church today, I was irresistibly drawn to this stain glass of Jesus Christ. With open arms, Jesus calls, “come to me”. I felt drawn in, comforted. And I’m not alone. This beautiful image, reminds me that there is a great crowd of people encircling Jesus. He is lovingly welcoming ALL people of all nations to come home to Him. He is our ultimate hope. He is greater, He is Lord of all, and He leads with love.
My prayer is that we all may open our arms to one another, to come together, and love each other well in the days ahead.
But first, as many of us are feeling big emotions and are exhausted in general from life, let’s accept the invitation to come. Let’s come and find rest with Jesus.
