My lament:

O God, we turn to You- Help us! Deliver us! When we are afraid, when we are caught in the waves of life deliver us! for we are plummeted back and forth by news reports, tragedies, heartbreaks.

We cling to your words of hope - You are our Shield, You sustain us… You answered.

so we ask,

O Lord, for those in need of protection…. be our shield….

for those who are sick, downcast in body or spirit… sustain us…

for other prayers heavy on our hearts…. You answer

We trust and wait in hope.
